ENVIRONMENT
Our holiday accommodation is located in the picturesque neighborhood of El Toscón de Tejeda. This small and charming neighborhood is characterized by its houses grouped along the GC-606 highway, being divided into upper neighborhood and lower neighborhood. Its beautiful church and large plaza, which are located right in the middle of the division between the upper neighborhood and the lower neighborhood, sit on land donated by some of its neighbors and were built by the residents of the neighborhood.
From our location, you can enjoy impressive views of the northwest of Gran Canaria, highlighting the mountains with the La Aldea Valley in the background and the Parralillo dam. In addition, we are in front of Roque Palmés, a spectacular stone monolith that is considered a Protected Natural Area, as it is part of the Nublo Rural Park, it has an altitude above sea level of 1,095 m. This rock, less popular but of similar beauty to Roque Nublo or Roque Bentayga, is also known as “Risco Palmés”.
Nearby, you can visit the El Toscón de Tejeda Cheese Factory, famous for its artisanal cheeses made with raw milk from Majorera goats and Canarian sheep.
We invite you to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this environment, and discover why El Toscón de Tejeda is such a special place.
We recommend watching a sunset. Quite a spectacle!!!
